Volunteer with us
We provide wellbeing support at several UK festivals, but we couldn’t do it without our incredible team of volunteers.
Are you a seasoned festival-goer, or fancy trying something new to get out of your comfort zone? Either way, if you’re passionate about mental health and an empathetic listener – we’d love to hear from you.
We’re recruiting for two volunteer roles
Here are the festivals we’re supporting this year. To volunteer, you’ll need to be available the day before or after the official festival dates too.
1. Wellbeing support volunteers (applications closed)
Help us raise awareness of blink, provide an inclusive space to support anyone in need, encourage people to use our wellbeing tent, and manage therapy bookings.
Find out more in the full role description (no mental health qualifications required).
Apply now to join us at a festival this summer
2. Qualified therapists (applications opening soon)
Provide therapy sessions to festival-goers in need, or those who are curious about exploring their feelings more deeply.
How it works
1. Complete application form
Tell us a bit about you and why you want to volunteer with us.
Applications close on 31 January for wellbeing support volunteers.
If you want to find out more before you apply, register for one of our informal drop-in sessions below.
2. Meet us at a recruitment session
Join an online session to see if we’re a good match (around 90 minutes).
We’ll tell you about blink, you’ll have a 1-to-1 interview, do a group task, and we can answer any questions you may have.
Sessions take place from mid-February to mid-March and you’ll know the outcome by the end of March.
3. Get ready to volunteer
Tell us your preferences and pay a fully-refundable £150 deposit to confirm your festival place.
Then join our online training to meet your new team (around 3 to 4 hours).
These sessions will take place during April and July.
Watch our video to hear what it’s like to be on the blink team, from a volunteer’s perspective. Or join one of our January drop-in sessions over Zoom.
This is a chance for potential volunteers, like you, to learn more about the role, meet some of the Blink team, and ask any questions you have.

Can’t make those dates? Drop us an email and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
