Our wellbeing Workshops

Making friends and developing a support network can be a challenge when dealing with mental ill health. Our workshops are designed to make that a bit less challenging. Learning a new skill or creating something in a group can be a truly validating experience, it can also lead to lifelong hobbies and friendships.

Our workshops are always run by mental health informed facilitators, so you can be assured you will always be in a safe environment and can share as much, or little as you feel.

A huge bonus of our workshops is that you may meet people in similar situations to you, and can develop an understanding network of friends while trying something new in a supportive environment

The workshops are developed to reduce the stigma people often feel about themselves. For example someone may think that their mental ill health could limit them. While we understand that at times a person’s illness may stop them living their life as they wish, we hope our workshops create the right environment to encourage people to try new things and challenge their preconceptions of themselves.

The skills taught such as yoga, or photography, are also brilliant hobbies that can be done outside the workshop. Therefore, the workshops create a foundation for a healthy hobby, and provide encouragement if you wish to engage after the workshop.

I can’t fault this series of online workshops. The delivery, the pace, the information, the tools, the practices, the knowledge, the support - all excellent and has really helped me to approach things differently - and for the better.
