Work for us at Camp Kindling

A key service of ours is hosting wellbeing tents at festivals across the UK. We provide mindfulness activities; a place to chill; and a safe space to talk openly about mental health.

We also have access to free professional talking therapy sessions with qualified psychologists and counsellors.​

We are looking for confident, friendly and personable people to work at Camp Kindling (https://campkindling.co.uk/) the weekend of 19 and 20 August. Your role would be to coordinate the blink retreat and make it a safe and welcoming space for children and their caregivers.

Working hours and pay

We are flexible on this but shifts will be between 4-6 hours per day.

The rate is £12.50 per hour, paid by invoice, a maximum of 30 days after the festival.

Who are we looking for, and what will you be doing?

Who we are looking for (essential):

  • You’ll be confident, friendly, and personable;

  • You will be happy with, and experience of, chatting with a wide range of people, from all walks of life

  • Passionate about mental health

  • Comfortable working without direction

  • Can think on your feet, and calm under pressure

  • Current DBS check

Who we are looking for (desirable):

  • Experience working at events or festivals

  • Experience in running activities or workshops

  • Experience working with Children

  • Experience working for a charity or not-for-profit organisation
